This was one of the first tracks I drove that didn't have a raceline--I was so naive that I thought the "reverse-look" raceline was a dirty prank. Now that I know better I'm still not so sure about the 'prank' aspect. There are numerous TSO's that are sitting on the track. If memory serves (probably not) it uses part of a South Boston 3do for a corner grandstand and the placement just didn't work. It's possible that just finding a different grandstand would clean that up (since the track is fictional I would think there are many options available). Anyway there are many things on the asphalt that don't belong there--get those moved and it will quickly begin to look like a race track.
This track has always intrigued me for some reason. The shape seems like a combination of Indy and a D-oval--the variety of corners presents the potential for a setup challenge. The length promises the potential for some real speed. And the width offers the hope for some 3-wide racing. I messed around on this one with Sandbox and didn't save frequently (everyone knows you have to save frequently!!!) so I will have to start over. We'll see what happens.
From the pits cut hard right
What happens if you go straight down pit road
What happens if you go straight down pit road fast
You've been punked
Get ready to duck
I've heard of pavement overgrown with weeds. But trees?
From the other side it looks like a low bridge over the track. I know people want to be close to the action but this is a bit much.
