Update 02/11/08: Birch Raceway V2

You may not recognize the old girl--Joan Rivers has nothing on this facelift and makeover. Fortine_oo has taken this track on and in his inimitable style transformed it into a full-fledged venue for some great racing whether it be Cup, CTS, PTA, GNS or PTA2ModX. Besides reworking the layout he has added the AI to make the place come alive. The added graphics including new horizon based on a stefanodimera72 3do conversion make the place ready to rock.
What you should realize is that this is no arcade track--you do not just go leadfoot and count on your superior reflexes to bail you out. Finding the proper way to drive the track is the challenge. If you think it can't be done then you haven't read the "readme" file. And those AI times are possible only because a human has driven the track very fast himself.

Pit road is in place, but you (once again) enter from the grass. You suppose that this was the only thing keeping this game from becoming a working NR03 track? I dunno but this is a fine track and most everything else is in place. Except splash screens. One shows Watkins Glen. And another shows a trackmap for--I've forgotten (I'm thinking Oldring but that's not it--I just checked). I mean I recognize it and it will come to me about the time I'm ready to publish. The point is, this was close and missed it by inches.
