Summary
I understand the author spent a lot of time getting this track to feel right, working on elevations, curve radii, all that technical stuff. And if does feel good; I hear it's more accurate than the original. But the man got bogged down and needed help and I still haven't seen that anybody was able to step up and help him. The original has trees and buildings and this one doesn't. I read that there are over 40 private residences inside and outside the circuit. Anyway, I think if someone were to invest the time to add the buildings and a ton of trees we would have a winner here. My thoughts were to just start grabbing mips and 3do's from the first one and stick them in here--but it's not so simple as a C & P operation. And of course it might drag the accuracy quotient down. Unfortunately I haven't seen that many pics and Google Earth doesn't zoom to the fine detail at the Bathurst circuit.
